Prunus Laurocerasus Novita

Novita laurel is very similar to common laurel. The difference is subtle unless pointed out. It too is a reliable, vigorous hardy evergreen. Notably, its foliage is darker and richer in colour than common laurel. It’s ideal screening for privacy, shelter and security 365 days a year.

PORTUGUESE LAUREL

Prunus Lusitanica Angustifolia

Portuguese laurel is an elegant and popular hedge. Its small rich dark green leaves alternating on its vibrant red stems are an eye catching backdrop. Due to its upright habit, it is easily maintained. It’s a reliable and hardy evergreen.  And as with all laurels it is ideal screening for privacy, shelter and security 365 days a year.  Don’t let the name deceive you – Portuguese laurel is completely full hardy for Irish conditions.

RENVANYII LAUREL

Prunus Lusitanica Renvanyii

Renvanyii laurel is a wonderful hedging plant. Its attractive leaves differ from common laurel in they are smaller, darker and richer in colour. Its elegant habit is dense and upright making it very suitable for narrow hedges if required. It’s a reliable and hardy evergreen.
