OUR RANGE

Beech Hedging

Beech is a deciduous hedge that provides all year screening and great seasonal colour. It produces dense hedges that are easily maintained and only need pruning once annually. While beech leaves change colour in autumn, they remain on the plant over the winter period to maintain privacy and to give a splash of colour to your winter garden.

Copper-purple beech hedging in ireland

Copper/Purple Beech

Fagus sylvatica atropurpurea

Copper beech or purple beech is the ‘fancy’ first cousin of green beech. It also doesn’t disappoint when it comes to seasonal variety. Surprisingly, it emerges lush green, quickly changes to deep incredibly rich purple, strikes fiery red in autumn and transforms to rustic brown in winter. It’s reliable, hardy and easy to maintain. It really packs a punch!

Green Beech

Fagus sylvatica

Green beech is our most popular hedge for many years now. The seasonal variety you get with beech is a joy to behold. From lush green spring emergent’s, dark green summer tones, autumnal fires of orange and yellows to winter rustic browns.  It does put on a show!! It’s reliable, hardy and easy maintain. What’s not to like?
